Journey Gallery MT offers a fun, relaxing destination for residents of and visitors to the Flathead Valley, Montana. My gallery is open by invitation, so just email me at art@cherylcolwell.com to arrange your visit. We offer art classes and the occasional Open Studio Art Show and Sale.

Living in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Montana's breathtaking seasonal shifts naturally find their way into my work, whether through traditional landscapes and subjects, or abstract interpretations. When summer arrives, my garden becomes both muse and canvas, offering fresh bouquets that inspire me to explore color, light, and form.

I'm forever grateful to my mother's influence to explore oil painting and for having art supplies at hand. My work has earned recognition in juried shows and has been exhibited in galleries and art events in California, Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Montana, where I now reside.

Painting, much like writing my novels, is a solitary pursuit, so it's deeply gratifying to watch the positive reactions to my work by collectors at my gallery and local art shows.
