Casual Dining
Eat, Drink, Gather. It’s our Motto at Montana Bonfire, but to us, it means so much more. It’s the experience we want you to have when you visit our new restaurant.
Why the name Bonfire? What one word captures the feeling of sitting at your campsite, the beach of Flathead Lake, out on the ranch? Bonfire. The word promotes gathering and a sense of community, while enjoying the wonder that is the State of Montana and even more so, The Flathead.
This restaurant was the brainchild of Chef Lisa Cloutier and her husband Brian Anderson. Staff worked around the clock after we took over the building formerly inhabited by the Flathead Lake Brewery and before that Woods Bay’s famous family hardware store. The past is important to us, and you will see we honor both businesses in our decor.
Bonfire’s menu is a spin off of classic American style cuisine. We are offering braised bison short ribs, a delicious slow smoked beef brisket from the Yellowstone Beef Company, smoked Idaho rainbow trout, cheese fries made with the Due North IRA beer from Bonsai Brewing in Whitefish, Korean fried chicken and even menu items for the more adventurous soul like our marinated octopus!
Our cocktail bar features locally made Montana spirits from Bigfork distillery Whistling Andy, Glacier Distilling from Coram, Bozeman Spirits, Willie’s Distillery in Ennis and many more. We also have exotic cocktails featuring unique Japanese whiskeys and everything in between. And we are proud to feature craft beers on tap from Montana brewers like Flathead Lake Brewing and Jeremiah Johnson from Great Falls.
